Missile Dialogue Between Iran And The West

“In recent meetings with Iranian officials, I have consistently heard the same refrain: that with regime change the name of the game in Washington, the Trump White House wishes to eliminate Iran’s missile capacity and defensive capabilities simultaneous with scuttling the JCPOA and re-imposing nuclear sanctions, all to prepare the grounds for a military attack on Iran. The Europeans, meanwhile, are viewed as playing the ‘good cop’ to America’s ‘bad cop’ in pushing for missile negotiations.”

Contrasting Leadership Styles In The Saudi-Iran Conflict

“Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman (MBS) is steadily consolidating power in Riyadh and positioning himself to become the most powerful ruler in Saudi history. His rise has been accompanied with a ratcheting up of hostilities against Iran and even war rhetoric. As Saudi-Iran tensions increase, the lived experiences and leadership styles of the 78-year-old Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and 32-year-old MBS will decide the future of peace and stability in the region.”

Behind the scene of Trump’s recognition of Quds as Israeli capital

“The ties between Tel Aviv and the White House, and the current situation of the Zionist lobby – during Trump’s presidency- is so that it seems this is only the Tel Aviv that has the final say about Iran, the Middle East and the peace process. The coalition’s plan is to first cut the tale of the snake (Iran’s regional leverage) and then the head of the snake (Iran’s power).”

Unprecedented Anti-Iran Tendencies Gain Momentum in White House

“[D]uring the Trump administration and with taking this opportunity, the unified Tel Aviv-Riyadh-Abu Dhabi lobby has fully succeeded in imposing its demands on the decision-making system in Washington against Iran, and they are not facing serious obstacles.”

US, UAE, Saudi Arabia Forming Alliance against Iran

“It has been months that the lobbyists from Riyadh, Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi are urging the White House to cut off the tail of the region’s snake (the Lebanese Hezbollah movement) before cutting off Iran’s head. There are signs that a triangle comprising Washington, Tel Aviv and Riyadh is taking shape to counter Iran in the region, including efforts to deal a blow to the Iran nuclear deal (known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, the JCPOA) …”

The wrong way to address Iran’s missile program

“[T]o discriminate against Iran for its military capabilities while US officials insist on policies of ‘regime change’ and ‘all options on the table’ signals to Iranian decision-makers that the United States seeks to weaken Iran’s means of deterrence to more easily attack it. This, in turn, compels Tehran to invest more in developing effective deterrents. This steers the United States and Iran into an escalatory cycle that could lead to disastrous conflict.”

Former diplomat warns about ‘Triple Alliance’ threat against Iran

“A few days ago at Willard Hotel, during a meeting on US’ lack of commitment to the Iran-G5+1 nuclear deal, prominent disarmament expert from one of the US think tanks said that despite all the Riyadh-Tel Aviv-Abu Dhabi pressures, the chances are remote that the Congress will decertify the Deal, unless in the coming few weeks, some new developments happen to change the Congress’ equations.”

An Iranian Nuclear Business Deal for Trump

“If the Trump administration’s concern is that after the JCPOA’s major limitations expire by 2040, there is a possibility that Iran will move towards developing nuclear weapons, undermining the JCPOA is illogical, as this will end the JCPOA’s stipulations today and not 2040. Instead, the Trump White House can view the long-term duration of the JCPOA as a way to gain confidence over the nature of Iran’s nuclear program. The best way to do this is to pursue nuclear cooperation with Iran.”

Trump’s new Iran policy seeks perennial conflict

“Trump’s decertification of the JCPOA and his ultra-hawkish, anti-Iran rhetoric have not only alienated US allies, but predictably united a usually divided Iranian public behind their government. Moreover, with his vociferous attacks on Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the IRGC, Trump has ruled out any possibility for negotiations with Tehran and put the two countries on a dangerous trajectory toward war.”
